‘Wherever You Are’ is a song that is really relevant to my life because I have all these amazing experiences everywhere in the world. And, you know, I’ll be in Japan and have the most amazing experience, meet the most amazing people, run around, have the best night of my life and then you just leave and I’m not back for a year. And I’ve had experiences like that all over the world. And it’s a song about how the love you have with someone will never die. But it’s also a little bit nostalgic because you know that all things come and go. You can’t hang on to an experience. You have to just let people live their life. And my life, you know, takes me places around the world. I’m kind of a bit of a nomad. So it’s like a bittersweet, nostalgic love song.
