I’ve lost the book of poetry you gave me
I used to laugh at how much the portrait of me
You’d stuck behind the last page looked like me
You tap me on the back as I walk, head down
Blowing up the wilted balloon someone had stepped on

There were times when I’d given up on crying
And couldn’t see what was ahead of me
And since no one would call me
I just listened to the sound of the wind blowing, oh oh oh yeah
I wanna be lost in the thought, I’ll fall in lovе with somebody
So I’m taking the things I’m forgetting
Thе things I’m throwing away
The things I used to believe in, and…

I’m going on a journey, leaving footprints behind me
The rhythm that smells so incredible is uneven and warm
Tying down my heart that’s torn apart so easily

Changing, I’m changing too
The scenery slips mischievously through time
Even if I were reborn as somebody different
I’d still be blowin’ in the winds of the Milky Way for all eternity…

I chased after those strong eyes of yours I admired so much
My empty chest feels like it’s about to break
Come on and show up, pieces of my dreams

I found the book of poems I lost
I flip through its pages because I missed it
I looked very seriously for it
Because I had a feeling that picture would still be in it
